Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Overview
Hustla is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your to-dos and personal information belong to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the Hustla app ("the App").
2. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Your to-dos, notes, lists, and preferences stay on your device (and in your own iCloud account, see section 4) and are never sent to us. We run no servers that receive your data. The only information leaving your device is your anonymous subscription status, handled by Apple and RevenueCat as described in section 6.
3. Local Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device. This includes your to-dos, notes, categories, preferences, and any customizations you make within the App.
4. iCloud Sync
iCloud sync is on by default, so your data is synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud service. This data is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can turn iCloud sync off for Hustla at any time in your device's System Settings (iCloud → Apps Using iCloud), and your data stays on your device.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Hustla does not include any advertising SDKs, and we do not track your usage, behavior, or the content of your to-dos. The only third-party SDK in the App is RevenueCat, which we use to manage subscriptions and to see anonymous, aggregated statistics about how often the paywall is shown and purchased. See section 6 for details.
6. Subscriptions
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Your payment details are handled by Apple and are never accessible to us.
To manage subscriptions and unlock Pro across your devices, the App uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription status linked to a randomly generated, anonymous identifier — not your name, email, or Apple ID — along with basic technical information such as your device type and app version, and a note of which screen the paywall was opened from. Your to-dos, notes, and lists are never sent to RevenueCat or to us. RevenueCat's handling of this data is subject to their privacy policy.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses two external services: Apple's iCloud for data syncing, and RevenueCat for subscription management as described in section 6. There are no other third-party integrations, and no advertising or attribution networks.
8. Website Analytics
Separate from the App, this website (hustla.app) uses analytics to understand how the site is used — nothing else, no ads. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track visitors across sites. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies only if you accept them via the consent banner; if you decline, Google Analytics stores no cookies or identifiers on your device. Neither service is used for advertising.
9. Children's Privacy
Hustla does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. We do not ask for names, email addresses, or any other personal details from any user, and the App contains no advertising.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
